Publication Design
BOOK:Chair serves as a multi functional publishing object. Serving both as a place to sit, and a book itself. Like a book you hold in your hand, BOOK:Chair includes many elements of a standard book such as cover, colophon, section headers, spine, mark. The cubbies on the side and back of the chair serve as the body of the book. Divided into three sections, 1. Research, Articles relating or adjacent to my topic. 2. Publish, my background, writing and process. 3. Observe, interviews of peer experiences of using the chair. This project aims to create and experimental and expanded idea of what a book can be.
